FRS(Fields & Radiating Systems)

Dont worry friends!!!!
FRS i.e. Fields & Radiating Systems is an interesting subject. The only thing required is patience & practice. One must concentrate on Unit-1 & Unit-2 only instead of Unit-4. Unit 1 & Unit 2 are very much similar. Unit 1 deals with PARALLEL PLANE waveguide while Unit 2 deals with RECTANGULAR waveguide.
The ony difference is that in PARALLEL PLANE waveguide, there is no boundary along y-axis & it is assumed that there is no propagation along y-axis. Hence boundary conditions can be applied only along x-axis.
But in RECTANGULAR waveguide, the wave propagation has to satisfy boundary conditions in both axes i.e. in both x-axis & y-axis.
At first derive the general expressions of the field components of wave propagating in z-direction for both waveguides. Then using these field expressions one can easily derive expressions for field components of T.E, T.M, & T.E.M waves.
Numericals are just bonus. They are just formula based.
This way one can easily attempt 3 questions in Sec-A.

Informations regarding Sec-B will b very soon posted.
